Health and WellbeingNHS Borders and our partners in Scottish Borders Council and the Voluntary Sector have made a joint commitment to improve and protect the health of all people living in the Scottish Borders. As well as this, a priority is to reduce the gap between the least and most healthy people living in the Borders. By doing this we will enhance the quality of people’s lives as well as increasing life expectancy. The Borders Joint Health Improvement Plan for the years 2005 to 2010 outlines how we will do this.
