In absence of Andrea JD chaired meeting.
Backyard Biodiversity: Doreen has handed out forms. 3 returned to date.
Doreen has given Andrea a copy of nature in Bowden in the past 20 years.
she has further information which she will pass on to AB.
Mills of Bowden: Can be progressed if required. Suggestion that completed project
be uploaded to website
Wells of Bowden: Can be progressed if required. Suggestion that completed project
be uploaded to website.
WRI Book: text to be edited to include more photographs. Chapters include
Church, Hall and School, Trades and Professions, People, Organisations;
Coronation and Millennium. Selecting photographs. These can be in any format
for printing.
Eco-Congregational Project: Award plaque to be dedicated at Harvest Festival.
Bulb planting at Gate – volunteers required.
Addition to Graveyard: Costs agreed with SBC.
Press release to Southern and Telegraph about Award.
Houses of Bowden: Nothing to report.
Questionnaire - No progress
No progress on purchase of painting.
War Memorials:

AB has done draft newsletter/update on BEC.
Bowden Kirk: Kirk goes green – MI awaiting further information and will edit for inclusion on website.
Traditional Boundaries done by AB.
Bowden archive documents. RM spoke to archive in Hawick who are keen to archive and reserve material. At present old documents are deposited – not donated – and could be retrieved if required.
