Central Borders Federation of Village Halls

Welcome

The Federation acts as an umbrella body for the rural  village and community halls in the central Borders.

There are currently 25 member halls providing a vital facility for their local community. Almost all our member halls are owned by the local community, and all are run by local volunteers.

On these pages, you can find out about the work of the Federation, where the halls are located and the range of activities taking place.

NEWS

Scottish Government asked Senscot if it could compile a list of social enterprise venues. The Government is increasingly holding meetings and events out and about around the country and would like to, where possible, take advantage of social enterprise or community-run venues. The list ranges from rural village halls to larger city centre venues. If you’d like your venue to be included, contact victoria@senscot.net. Here’s the current list. http://www.senscot.net/view_news.php?viewid=7630
