EDDLESTON PARISH CHURCH - CHURCH OF SCOTLANDLinked with the Old Parish Church in Peebles, a warm welcome for visitors is always assured at Eddleston Parish Church which is situated at the top of Bellfield Road behind the Horseshoe Inn. Services are held at 11.45 each Sunday, apart from the last Sunday of the month when an evening service is held at 6.00pm. The services are led by the Rev. Calum McDougall. Once a month the local school provides the choir for the family service. On the second and last Sundays of each month a Fair Trade stall is held in the Church

If your church is not represented here and you would like to be included, please contact us and we will do our best to help NEW CHOIRIn August 2008, a new adult choir started up in the Parish Church. With both male and female members and from teenagers to grannies, the choir is ably directed by village music teacher Lorraine Mulholland. We could do with a few more men though so if you're interested, do come along on Thursday evenings. We meet in the Church from 7.30 - 8.30. Or call Lorraine on 730332 for more information 
500 Years of the Eddleston Bell2007 celebrated the 500th anniversary of the Eddleston Bell. The Bell, one of the oldest in the country, was given to the village by John Murray of Blackbarony who was killed with James 1V at the Battle of Flodden.. |  St Joseph's Catholic Church PeeblesFour miles away at 17 Rosetta Road, Peebles, is the Catholic Church of St Joseph's. Fr. George Smith is the new Parish Priest. There is Mass every Saturday evening at 6pm and on Sunday morning at 9.30am. There are also daily services at varying times. The church has an active children's liturgy group led by local parents alongside teachers from Halyrude Primary School and a music group and choir which plays every Sunday.
